These Are My People.

Why Groups?

One thing we truly value at Genesis is community. Whether you have never been to Genesis or Genesis has been your church for years, truly, the best way to get connected with our family and start meeting others is through Groups. These are so much more than quick chats or handshakes at church. Connect groups are where you can develop real and lasting friendships that go beyond Sunday morning with people who have common interests and are in the same season of life as you.

During a typical Sunday service, there is only so much time to support one another other in our faith Journey. We believe that a group of people, who are truly there for one another other in life, can be much more impactful than a typical Sunday service. No one wants to go through life alone and real change happens in the context of relationships.

At Genesis, there is a Group of people just for you and waiting to meet you. They have been saving you a seat.

You know as much as anybody that it's important to be connected. That's one reason you're part of Genesis.

We know it's hard to connect with others and build lasting friendships. We know that even defining community is tough because being in community is more than showing up for Bible study. It's also sharing food, laughing till it hurts, and doing what you love to do with your favorite people.

What if you could help more people find and enjoy that kind of laughing, caring, and growing community?

You can. Here’s how:
